此課程是專為那些希望學習司琴和弦伴奏的同學設計的，同時也希望在古典鋼琴上打好根基或繼續學習。透過學習古典鋼琴，學生將有機會同時解決在彈奏司琴和弦伴奏過程中遇到的技術問題。這種綜合的學習方式能確保學生同時發展古典鋼琴技巧和伴奏能力，提升他們的整體音樂素養及多元化能力。

我們開辦教會司琴與和弦伴奏課程已有多年，感謝神的帶領，讓我們有機會培訓許多司琴。他們不僅在音樂技巧上進步，更在信心和屬靈生命上成長，這些都成為他們在教會事奉中的源源不絕的動力。看到他們的改變，我們深感感恩。

來此學習的同學背景各異，來自不同教會，學習目標也各不相同。有些是鋼琴初學者，甚至完全不會彈琴，希望從零開始，逐步裝備自己；有些因教會急需司琴，迫切想學會彈奏技巧，以便盡快投入服事；還有一些已有古典鋼琴基礎或已達高級別，但對現代和弦伴奏不熟悉，或希望在事奉中進一步提升能力。無論出發點如何，我們都歡迎每位懷著期待與謙卑的學員。

現今，和弦變化和伴奏方式千變萬化，而彈奏風格也隨著時代不斷演進。然而，再流行或具時代感的演繹，也不一定能完全契合當地文化或教會的敬拜氛圍及所屬教會的需求。因此，我們的導師特別用心，是根據每位學員的現有水平、需要與目標，靈活調整教學內容。課程不拘泥於僵硬的大綱綁住，而是強調實用性和個人化，讓學員所學能真正應用於實踐。我們避免學員耗費數年學習大量理論或音樂術語，卻最終發覺不知道如何應用於教會司琴——這正是許多學員初來時所面臨的問題。

This course is specifically designed for students who wish to learn gospel piano while also establishing a strong foundation or continuing their studies in classical piano. By learning classical piano, students will have the opportunity to address and resolve technical issues they may encounter when playing chord accompaniments on the organ. This integrated approach ensures that students develop both their classical piano skills and their ability to accompany, enhancing their overall musical literacy and versatility.

We have been offering church piano and chord accompaniment courses for many years. We are grateful for God's guidance, which has allowed us the opportunity to train many pianists. They have not only progressed in their musical skills but have also grown in faith and spiritual life, which has become an endless source of motivation for their service in the church. We feel deeply thankful to witness their transformation.

The students who come here to learn come from diverse backgrounds, representing different churches, and have various learning goals. Some are piano beginners who may not know how to play at all and wish to start from zero to gradually equip themselves. Others urgently want to learn playing techniques because their church is in need of pianists and they wish to get involved in serving as soon as possible. There are also those who already have a classical piano background or have reached an advanced level but are unfamiliar with modern chord accompaniment or wish to further enhance their abilities in service. Regardless of their starting point, we welcome every student with expectation and humility.

Nowadays, chord variations and accompaniment methods are ever-changing, and playing styles evolve with the times. However, no matter how popular or contemporary a rendition may be, it may not necessarily fit the local culture or the worship atmosphere of the church, as well as the needs of the respective church. Therefore, our instructors are particularly thoughtful and adjust the teaching content flexibly based on each student's existing level, needs, and goals. The courses do not adhere to a rigid syllabus but emphasize practicality and personalization, allowing students to truly apply what they learn in practice. We avoid having students spend years learning a vast amount of theory or musical terminology only to find out that they do not know how to apply it to church piano—this is precisely the issue many students face when they first arrive.

只要有謙卑及認真的學習態度，堅持抽時間學習及練琴，是可以的。同學在學習過程可能有些時候會懷疑自己的能力及方向，正如芥茶種的比喻，所以凡事要藉著禱告得力，倚靠並努力學習。

有些同學總會擔憂將來有沒有機會事奉，雖然每個團體對司琴的要求不同，但是神的安排是十分奇妙的，明天怎麼你還是不知道，可嘗試學習交托。此外，建議同學在學習一段時間後嘗試爭取在小組或團契中事奉，從中吸取經驗及信心。

有很多同學來到這裡學習，他們分享時亦擔心自己的技巧及能力，亦會與別的司琴作比較，其實作為司琴與其他人作技術上比較是全無意義的事情，因為重心點放錯了，任何事奉並非榮耀自己⋯⋯

As long as you have a humble and earnest attitude towards learning and are willing to dedicate time to practice, it is definitely possible. Students may sometimes doubt their abilities and direction during the learning process, just like the parable of the mustard seed. Therefore, it is important to find strength through prayer, relying on God while making diligent efforts in your studies.

Some students worry about future opportunities to serve. Although each group has different requirements for pianists, God's arrangements are truly marvelous, and you cannot predict what tomorrow holds. It might be helpful to learn to trust and let go. Additionally, I encourage students to seek opportunities to serve in small groups or fellowships after a period of learning, as this can provide valuable experience and build confidence.

Many students come here to learn, and they often share their concerns about their skills and abilities. They may compare themselves to other pianists, but in reality, making technical comparisons with others is meaningless. This is because the focus is misplaced; serving is not about glorifying oneself...

這個要先了解你的司琴事奉是在詩班、崇拜或團契上。因為有些詩班要求司琴伴奏一定要跟足樂譜彈，每個音都不能少。

雖然傳統四部詩歌是比較難處理，尤其是 8 度或以上的和弦，譜上沒有任何和弦標記，學生經常感到彈四部是十分吃力和沉悶。

其實彈奏時可以選擇使用全部是伴奏或左手是伴奏右手是主音，只須透過詩歌編上適當的和弦伴奏模式便可，但伴奏模式類型十分多，同學緊記處理此類的伴奏模式不可以太花巧，並要小心處理。

First, it's important to understand whether your role as a chruch pianist is for a choir, worship service, or fellowship. Some choirs may require the pianist to strictly follow the sheet music with every note played accurately.

Although traditional four-part hymns can be quite challenging, especially with chords that are eight degrees or higher and without any chord markings on the sheet, students often find playing four parts to be laborious and tedious.

In fact, when playing, you can choose to use solely accompaniment or have the left hand providing accompaniment while the right hand plays the melody. You just need to apply appropriate chord accompaniment patterns for the hymns. However, there are many types of accompaniment patterns, and it's important to remember that you should not make them too elaborate, and you need to handle them carefully.

這是一個非常好的問題，我們在經驗中也發現許多司琴並不理解的地方。司琴是一位事奉者，而不是個人演奏者。有些同學在技術達到某個階段後，無意間進入了另一個層面。因此，無論在學習過程中還是在事奉中，我們都要警覺不要自我越界。

我們應該將學到的所有技巧和伴奏模式正確地應用到不同類型的詩歌上。例如，在適當的位置加入滑音（gliss）可以讓會眾深刻記住詩歌的內容，但如果在同一首歌或整個敬拜中不斷重複使用，可能就會適得其反，即使手指不痛，其他人也可能感受到表現過於炫耀。

伴奏模式需謹慎運用，否則在古典音樂中會被認為是演奏錯誤的風格，而在詩歌伴奏中則是使用了不合適的模式，完全無法表達詩歌的意義。音樂是神所創造的，司琴的使命是透過音樂傳遞神的話語、教誨、反思和信息。在正常的敬拜過程中，這並不是娛樂表演或個人展現，因此我們必須懂得如何運用伴奏模式，才能使會眾對神的話語有更深的體會。

This is a very good question, and in our experience, we have found many areas where church pianist do not fully understand. A pianist is a servant, not a solo performer. Some students, once they reach a certain level of skill, inadvertently enter another realm. Therefore, we must remain vigilant not to overstep boundaries during both our learning process and service.

We should apply all the techniques and accompaniment patterns we've learned correctly to different types of hymns. For example, incorporating glissando at appropriate moments can help the congregation profoundly remember the hymn's content. However, if it is repeatedly used in the same song or throughout an entire worship service, it may backfire; even if the fingers do not hurt, others may feel the performance is excessively showy.

Accompaniment patterns must be used cautiously; otherwise, in classical music, it would be regarded as playing in the wrong style, while in hymn accompaniment, it could mean using an inappropriate pattern that completely fails to convey the hymn's meaning. Music is created by God, and the pianist's mission is to use music to communicate God's words, teachings, reflections, and messages. In a typical worship process, this is not an entertainment performance or a personal showcase, so we must know how to use accompaniment patterns to help the congregation gain a deeper understanding of God's word.

This is an individual course that follows a one-on-one teaching model. Each session can be either 45 minutes or 60 minutes long.

Learning Plan 1: Regular classes every week.

Learning Plan 2: Classes every other week.

Learning Plan 3: Flexible schedule, with each session requiring prior appointment

我們非常重視學生的學習體驗，但是一個短暫的試堂並不能完全展示課程的內容和風格。每堂課的效果需要時間來累積，因此單獨的一堂課無法完全反映學生或老師的效果。此外，我們的老師時間比較緊密，我們希望他們能夠專注於教學，因此我們不提供試堂的服務。私人課程大多以四堂課繳交學費一次，我們鼓勵學生直接報名私人課程，以便更好地安排學習計劃和課程內容，並在學習過程中逐步提高。

此外，我們的老師會根據學生的學習進度調整教學內容，確保學生能夠真正掌握知識和技能。這樣的學習方式不僅能夠提高學生的學習效果，也能夠讓學生更好地適應課程內容，進而更好地完成學習目標。因此，我們相信，直接報名私人課程是一個更好的選擇。

We place great importance on our students' learning experience; however, a brief trial lesson cannot fully showcase the course content and style. The effectiveness of each class takes time to accumulate, so a single session cannot accurately reflect the performance of either the student or the teacher. Additionally, our teachers have tight schedules, and we want them to focus on teaching, which is why we do not offer trial lessons.Private courses are generally billed in blocks of four lessons, and we encourage students to enroll directly in private courses to better arrange their learning plans and course content, allowing for gradual improvement throughout the learning process.

Moreover, our teachers adjust the teaching content based on the students' learning progress to ensure they truly grasp the knowledge and skills. This approach not only enhances students' learning outcomes but also helps them adapt better to the course material, ultimately enabling them to achieve their learning goals.Therefore, we believe that enrolling directly in private courses is a better choice.
